Kimberley Cross RMT

Kimberley is a graduate from the Kootenay Columbia College of Integrative Health Sciences’ 3000-hour Registered Massage Therapy Program. She is a Kootenay local excited to embark on this new career in her community.

She believes healing is a multifaceted practice which is just that; a practice, which takes time and attention. Working with the nervous system is an integral part of this work. She integrates working with the nervous system and soft tissues by tuning into a client’s breath and aims to reduce dysfunction by bringing slide and glide to the tissues.

Kimberley’s journey includes her own healing from various injuries and believes that when you learn to work with them, rather than against them, you can start to feel at home in one’s body. She also previously worked as a Support Worker where she learned to assess, support, and facilitate various needs in individualized ways. This personal journey sparked her interest in becoming an RMT focused on a person-centered practice. Kimberley is excited and inspired to pursue hands-on experience and continued learning to further support her client’s needs. She values that learning is a lifelong process. Kimberley aims to prioritize balance- mental and physical health being key components. In her free time, she enjoys: the outdoors, gardening, hiking, camping, climbing, spending time with her loved ones and fur babies. She feels honoured to be part of your journey and looks forward to meeting you.
